The HCC presents a free preview concert to kick off their trip to Washington DC where they will perform at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts

February 5, 2011 - Fort Wayne. The Heartland Chamber Chorale (HCC), Fort Wayne’s premiere professional chorus, invites you to attend a free preview concert in the form of an open rehearsal on Friday February 11, 2011 at 6:30PM at Plymouth Congregational Church UCC in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This is a kick-off event to highlight HCC’s trip to Washington D.C. to perform at the Kennedy Center.
The Chorale will perform on the Millennium Stage at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Monday February 14, 2011 at 6PM. Their presentation will be broadcast live, streaming online at the Kennedy Center’s website:

The HCC will be presenting a program of American Music, which will include songs from Abraham Lincoln’s presidency (garnered from a unique music collection at the Indiana State Museum), songs in celebration of Valentine’s Day, and spirituals.
