The Friends of the Heartland Chamber Chorale Invite You

October 12, 2010 – Fort Wayne. The Friends of the Heartland Chamber Chorale is a new organization formed by members of the HCC Board of Directors: Sara Davis, Diane Behrens, and Charles Replane in an initiative began by Maestro Robert Nance. The Friends is in recruitment phase now! The purpose of the organization is “to support and to serve as an advocate for the Heartland Chamber Chorale, Inc. in its fundraising and educational endeavors, while striving also to discover and encourage choral singing” (Bylaws, Article II).

This exciting new initiative is a great opportunity for supporters of the Heartland Chamber Chorale to get involved. To become a friend, contact the Heartland Chamber Chorale office at 436-8080. Membership pricing is reasonable. Benefactors pay $50/year, Individuals pay $25/year and students pay $10/year. The Friends has six avenues where you can be involved. These areas include The Voice newsletter, administrative activities, education and scholarship, fundraising, hospitality, and membership outreach. Members can volunteer as much or as little time as they have to give, providing valuable support to the chorale’s endeavors.
