Carmina Burana Press Conference

This press conference was held August 16, 2012 to announce a partnership between Heartland, the Fort Wayne Ballet and the Fort Wayne Children's Choir to perform Carl Orff's Carmina Burana at the Arts United Center in Fort Wayne, IN. Information about the patriotic celebration in Roanoke, IN on July 3rd. The concert begins at 8pm and involves Northeast Indiana's Premiere Professional Vocal ensemble Heartland and the Heartland Jazz Orchestra. Also appearing will be local band Endgame.

Information about the World Premiere of Sing a New Song: A Modern Oratorio by Indiana native Howard Terrell. The performance will feature the Heartland Chamber Chorale, South Bend Chamber Singers and members of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic and take place on June 3 at 8p in Plymouth Congregational Church in Fort Wayne.

The Heartland Chamber Chorale is an independent, professional vocal ensemble-in-residence on the campus of the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Heartland Sings programs are provided with support from: Lincoln Financial Foundation, Arts United of Greater Fort Wayne (a local agency), the Indiana Arts Commission (a state agency), and the National Endowment for the Arts (a national agency).
