Heartland Festival Chorus June 2013: Broadway, Your Way

Our final concert of the 2012-13 program year will be Heartland Sings: Broadway, Your Way on June 1, 2013 at the University of Saint Francis Performing Arts Center (formerly the Scottish Rite Auditorium) in downtown Fort Wayne. This concert will feature the Heartland Chamber Chorale with the Heartland Festival Chorus, and all qualified singers in the Fort Wayne area are invited to participate. The Festival Chorus for this concert has already been selected. Look for more opportunities to sing with us in the 2013-14 program year.

To sing in the Heartland Festival Chorus, choristers will be auditioned before placement; however, members currently enrolled in area auditioned choruses will not require an audition (with recommendation of director). Your five minute audition includes simple vocalizations to assess range & voice part, plus excerpts from choruses to assess vocal ability & experience. You must know how to read music. If you are already a member of the Heartland Festival Chorus, you will not need to re-audition to sing.
