Teaching Philosophy

Singing is a universal language that should be cherished and nurtured, so as a teacher, I focus on helping my students find their most beautiful and natural voice. I do not believe that the student should be a passive learner, but should be engaged in a discovery process with the teacher. My voice lessons are a process where I work with a student to address issues in order to make singing as easy as possible. In the end, I strive to assist my students in gaining confidence in their voices and ultimately themselves.
